Discus fish (Symphysodon discus) is derived from the Amazon waters. Discus called because of its shape like a disk (disc) with attractive colors. Traits of freshwater fish is very quiet and gentle movements, so-called king of the aquarium. Most big fish can reach a diameter of 15 cm. Discus fit bred in a tropical climate with 25-30oC water temperature, acidity and pH 6-6.5 hardness of 3-5 dH. For maintenance in the aquarium should be a little patient, because discus fish easy to stress.
